Skiing, Sledding and Snowmen

On Friday it was supposed to snow about 2 inches but we think it was more like 4. It snowed all of the morning while Chuck, Robin, Adelyn and I went cross-country skiing and Brian and Cameron played in the snow and went snow-shoeing. Addy did a great job on the skis with Robin and I got a workout in with Chuck. I always forget just how much work it is!

That afternoon Addy and Brian built a snow lady- complete with a tutu (thanks Robin!) While building it, a deer walked right by, seemingly unbothered by the presence of anyone. We believe this to be the same deer who came back that night and ate the carrot right off the snowman and then put his head right up to the screen glass door to see if we would give away any more food. The nerve of these animals!

When Cameron woke up from his nap he wanted to build his own snowman and his was a Seahawk Snowman. The snow was perfect that day and the kids had a blast building the snowmen and going sledding. It was another wonderful trip to Winthrop, thank you Chuck and Robin!
