Day Trip

Last weekend we hopped on a ferry and spent the day with our friends Kris and Sarah. Addy got to play with Lilja all day- at the park, by the lake, running through the sprinkler, playing with toys, coloring and reading books. It took Addy some time to adjust to being around 4 dogs, but eventually she tolerated it, sort of. We need to keep working on that one. I was so impressed at what a good helper Lilja was and that she was willing to let Addy play with all of her stuff, especially when Addy kept saying "mine, mine" to everything she had. I think Lilja was worried Addy would take something for good. We did learn that we can't turn our backs (or rather Addy's back) on us for second. While at the playground we thought Addy was playing nicely with all of the toys in the sand until we realized that she was actually eating the sand. Seeing what a good 4 year-old Lilja is was a good reminder for us that Addy won't be like this forever.
