To say it's been a busy week is a bit of an understatement. We headed to the hospital on Wednesday, got home Friday night, Brian's parents flew home on Sunday and then on Monday we had Addy's ear surgery scheduled to have her blockage removed. Brian was home from work and he was able to take her. She was her normal stubborn self and refused to put on the gown, even after receiving some medicine to help calm and relax her before the surgery. Everything went great and the doctor was able to remove the blockage and the tube and confirmed that putting her under was the only way it was ever going to come out. Afterwards, she didn't even want to come home because they had Cinderella and Dora playing in the recovery room! We are just relieved it's over and we don't have to deal with this ear anymore (knock on wood). She knew it was her day to be queen though as she stayed in her pajamas all day, got to watch lots of Dora and got to eat on the couch. Here is our little patient enjoying some R&R.
