The kids were very excited that Grandma and Grandpa were coming but were even more excited that they brought gifts and got to go out for ice cream. They asked every day when they could go and were quite disappointed when they went on Monday and found the ice cream store was closed. Luckily there was another one around the corner so disaster was averted.
The kids were thoroughly spoiled but had a fantastic time with Grandma and Grandpa. Brian and I felt the same since we got to go out on a date night and didn't have to do the bedtime routine the whole time they were here. We wish they lived closer and could come more often!
