Cam and Addy love watching a show called "Fireman Sam" and now regularly play make believe firefighters. Adelyn always plays "Fireman Penny" and even though we want Cameron to be "Fireman Cam" he insists that he's Sam. It's pretty cute to listen to them play as they have elaborate stories of who they are rescuing and always bring in parts of the show to their play.
The other morning they were playing when I heard Adelyn yell, "Help help! Fireman Penny needs help!"
Cameron had apparently moved on from the game and just calmly responded, "You can save yourself Penny. You are a firefighter, you don't need my help."
Hard to argue with the logic of a three year old.
