School Days

Cameron started the new year off in a new classroom at his school. Even though he just turned 3 he moved up to the "older 3's" room and seems to be doing very well. We love his new teachers and are happy to hear that they think he's ready to be with the big kids. He was telling us the other day about how he got to be the teacher's helper because he had been a good listener and got a "green" stick. Apparently there is a red, yellow, green system to track the kid's behavior each day and then Cameron told us about "black" which means the parents have to come pick up the child. Luckily we haven't had anything but green and hopefully never have to deal with a black!

Addy had a "black-eye" kind of day this week. Meaning she literally got a shiner. She and another boy collided on the playground and his head hit her straight in the eye by accident. They treated it with some ice and we got a "head injury report" but she seemed to be doing ok. Now she says it doesn't bother her at all, we think it makes her look pretty tough! I tried to take a picture of it but she refused to let me.
